In interpreting the assumptions that I thought that the author was making, I made some assumptions of my own, and I should not have done so.

I just tried to lay out how I was seeing it differently from you, not to make any assumptions about how you were seeing it the way you were. Different strokes for different folks and all of that. O-:)
