I hadn't thought about your Memory Wars research when I sat down to write about False Memory (and I first read it many years before we met), but I can understand why it seems relevant! I should warn you that it's a very (unnecessarily, I think) long book, composed of short chapters that flip-flop between storylines, and there are a lot of references to sexual abuse, including by family members.
