During an evening that included a delicious dinner, a chance to try on a homemade corset, a white kitty that shed all over my black outfit, way too much giggling like twelve-year-olds, and a shiny new-to-me anime series called Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, my friends and I concluded that there should be an equivalent of the Shut Up And Take My Money meme for writers, role-players, and other people who become attached to fictional characters: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY HEADSPACE.
(Yes, this came from a conversation in which
mllelaurel and
wired_lizard assured/warned me that a particular character from Magi was My Type. I have not even met this gentleman yet, but I've been spoiled enough to have a sense of how very, very doomed I am.)
