Fanfic things!

nevannaI am taking dialogue prompts from this list of "control starters.". (Content warning for dialogue related to abuse/manipulation. That stuff is kind of my jam, but it might not be yours, and that’s fine.)
This in spite of the fact that I have plenty of other potential and actual writing projects on the horizon, including a ficlet that I owe Elle for the next Polyshipping Day (February 1), four more chapters of Ordinary Town, and a few stray prompts on my![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
hc_bingo card. Here are a few that have caught my eye.
Fighting: I had the beginnings of an idea for a Voltron fic along these lines, since two of the characters were canonically captured by aliens and forced to be gladiators, but I think this prompt would also work really well for the other DreamWorks/Netflix reboot of a nostalgic 1980s property, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, whose heroine probably had to fight her prickly catgirl frenemy as part of their training by the Evil Empire. Also, their adoptive mother/commanding officer totally has sinister mind powers that I can imagine her using when the fight didn’t turn out to her liking.
Body Image Issues: I could probably likewise come up with an idea for this one that is not Voltron, but why would I, when I could write about Keith (and/or Lance) lovingly kissing Shiro’s scars?
Comfort food or item / feeding someone: My first thought, and the one that I still like best? TEMPESTS & SLAUGHTER OT3. Varice can cook a favorite food for one or both of her sweeties, or Arram can attempt to cook something for her. Or, more painfully, she tries to cheer Prince Kaddar up with food after he loses a fight with an older and much less stable Ozorne. Or perhaps I could incorporate different snapshots, taking place over time, into the same story.
